Purpose, Vision, and Values

The purpose of Castine Church is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 

The vision of Castine Church is: modeling Christ and taking Him to the world.

The goal of Castine Church is to grow GODLY men, women, marriages, and children REACH the world.

We value being conformed by God’s Word. Our ministry is guided and grounded by our biblically based Core Beliefs. These are the foundations for everything we believe and how we act. 

We value worship that invites people to surrender every aspect of their lives to imitate Christ. It is through surrender that we are more able to recognize God’s presence in our lives. 

We value identifying, equipping, and using people’s God-given talents for serving the church, community, and the world.

We value serving our church, our communities, and our world with the message of Jesus while meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs because we were designed for this.

We value authentic groups that push us closer to Christ because God designed us to live in community.
