Praise

Isa. 25:1 - Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

Ps. 150:6 - Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord.

Ps. 42:11 - Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why is it so disturbed within me?  Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Ps.139:13-14 - For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I Praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Ps. 103:1 - Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Ps. 9:1 - I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

Ps. 28:7 - The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.  My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Rev. 5:13 - The I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”

Ps. 63: 3-4 - Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.

Col. 3:16 - Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Ps. 56:4 - In God, whose word I praise-in God I trust and am not afraid.  What can mere mortals do to me?

James 3:10 - Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing.  My brothers and sisters, this should not be.

Daniel 2:23 - I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.

Is. 12:4 - In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.”

Ps. 119:7 - I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.

Job 1:20-21 - At his, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head.  Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and anaked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”

1 Chron. 16:25-26 - For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise, He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.

Ps. 34:1-3 - I will extol the Lord at all times, His praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glory the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.

Ps. 51:15-17 - Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise. You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.  My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

Ps. 71: 22-24 - I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you--I whom you have delivered. My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion.

2 Chron. 7:1-3 - …The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the payment with faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “He is good; His love endures forever.”

Rev. 19:5-8 - Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you His servants, you who fear him, both great and small.”  Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah!  For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given to her to wear.”  (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

Ps. 96: 1-4 - Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name, proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise.

Ps. 99:1-3 - The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble, he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.  Great is the Lord in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations. Let them praise your great and awesome name--He is holy!....vs 5 - Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool; He is holy!

Ps. 100:1-5 - Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Ps. 111:1- 4 - Praise the Lord. I will extol the Lord with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly (church). Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
