Red River Gorge Camping Trip- August 12-14, 2022
Red River Gorge Camping trip is for 7th-12th graders on August 12th-14th.
We will be camping, hiking, swimming and doing other outdoor activities. Students will have the option to go watch the drag races one night at an additional cost. The group will be tent camping and there is no running water at the campsite so be prepared for an adventurous time.
Cost:
$80 for the weekend ($30 deposit by August 1st)
$100 for the weekend + the drag races on Saturday evening. ($30 deposit by August 1st)
Each student will need a signed medical release form.
We will leave from Castine at 7:45am on Friday, Aug 12th and return around 11:30pm on Sunday, Aug. 14th.

- Tent, if you have one (we will have extras if not)
- Lawn chair
- Pillow and sleeping bag
- Bible and notebook (there is limited phone service so using the Bible app may not always work)
- Water bottle
- Flashlight, sunscreen, bug spray
- Modest swimsuit
- Towel
- Clothes for hiking and being outdoors
- Shoes for hiking and shoes that can get wet
- Toiletries
- Snacks and games
- $20-$30 spending money (some will be needed for supper on the drive home)
