2023: The Year So Far

Take a look at some of the events that we've had so far this year!

Soups on! We hope you got to join our church family on Sunday, February 12th right after service for Soup for the Soul in the Life Center. This was a time for fellowship, a soup buffet, recipe swap, and just enjoying time as a church family.

At Castine Church, this is one of our core values (Serving Inside and Out) that represents what a successful follower of Christ at Castine Church will look like. With this in mind, we introduced a service project that we plan to take on as a ministry: Care Crates for Teachers.

What if we knew Jesus was coming back in 10 years? It would change everything! That’s what we talked about at IF:Gathering 2023. We got together on March 3rd and 4th for two days of equipping & growing deeper together, and let’s watch God move!

Parents and your kids pre-school to 6th grade, came on March 25th to immerse themselves in the hands-on experience of the last week of Jesus’ life together!

DNOW is a discipleship event for 7-12th grade students. During this two-day/one-night weekend students worshipped together with other church's students and leaders, engaged in small group Bible study with other students, carried out service projects, and connected with others throughout the weekend. The ultimate goal and purpose of DNOW is for students to be equipped to follow God as disciples, so every element of DNOW is geared towards this end.
