Our Mission Highlight for Nate and Ivy Cheeseman with Wycliffe USA. Nate and Ivy’s main purpose in Thailand is to support Bible translation. They are equally passionate about people applying God’s Word to their marriages, parenting, and community life. Currently working with audio bibles, they are working on solar powered bibles for areas with no electricity. Cookies for Kairos Prison Ministry is back now that Covid has subsided. Outreach is again in need of people to bake Cookies for Kairos and bring to the church kitchen on or before October 9, 2022. What is needed are Chocolate Chip Cookies preferred 2-inch size, bagged by 2 dozen in a one-gallon freezer zip lock bags, (“NO” Slide lock bags, “NO” Paper plates, “NO” Raisins, “NO powdered sugar dipped per Prison rules). Cookie dough will be available in the Castine kitchen refrigerator for pick up as needed. Mark your bagged cookies “Kairo’s” and place in the freezer at the church on or before October 9th . They will be delivered to the prison by one of our church family members on October 13, 14, 15, & 16th who will deliver and minister to individual prisoners.
